The holiday seasons are especially rough on those of us who are either well within or just beginning the grieving process. Dr Joe briefly shares some of his thoughts, experiences and help regarding grief.

Regardless of who you are... you ARE in a constant battle for your eternal LIFE! The real problem is... WHO's going to "win"... it's your choice and your choice ONLY.

Lunch with me at a 100 year old restaurant in Tiptonville, TN and then drone Reelfoot Lake and then enjoy the gorgeous Autumn colors along its famous boardwalk.  And maybe in October of 2023, the Pelican Festival where I might be able to share that adventure with you because I just barely missed it this year as you'll see in this video.

Rainy Day FUN

Thunderstorm weather is great fun outside in the pouring rain playing with the grandkids and the neighborhood kids. This video is an encouragement for grandparents to get outside and do fun things, crazy things, well... maybe not in a thunderstorm? But if you do, be sure and use a snorkel.

Marshall Steakhouse, Mississippi

Check out this delicious 16 oz. Ribeye from the top rated Marshall Steakhouse.  Visit to gorgeous Chewalla Lake and then to the serene, tiny community of Snow Lake Shores all in northern Mississippi.

Jackson, Tennessee

Journey with me from Rossville, TN as you and I discover some small  towns on my way into Jackson, TN where we'll visit the family friendly Casey Jones Village, its two restaurants, Casey Jones' home, the 6,000 seat Jackson Ballpark - Home of the Generals, and the awesome Cyprus Grove Nature Park's boardwalk through the forest which kids of all ages will love.

It's the Como Steakhouse vs the Marshall Steakhouse; two of the absolute best steakhouses in Mississippi. I compare their Ribeye steaks, their ambience and their service.  Who wins?  In between the culinary delights I trek to Tom's Farm to tell that crazy rooster a chicken joke from my Wanna Laff book and meet up with a friendly pig.  The cats could've cared less.

The "silly socks" ambushes me and then dances me to the family friendly Jupiter Café and Entertainment Center and Event Center in Moscow, Tennessee for a delicious burger and fries.

Stormy Evening Things to Do

If you're feeling a little bit crazy, or even bored, well then here are a few things you may want to consider doing on a very stormy evening.

Experience with me and my daughter the Manduu workout that is life-changing AND find out how I felt 48 hours later.

Elmwood Cemetery, Memphis TN - Why should you visit cemeteries... or the cemetery of where your loved one's gravesite is? Discover the answers here in this hope filled video.

This is dedicated to Louann, my precious wife of 45 years who succumbed to pancreatic and liver cancer on November 2, 2019 after a six week battle with it. This song exemplifies what I go through (often) since she departed. But I have hope and I know I will be with the Lord Jesus Christ and her in Heaven when my time is up here. May this video bring you hope, too.
